This certified PCGS PR65 1838 half dollar J-80 Restrike combines active luster with the stature expected of the issue. As a pattern issue, it records the Mint’s active experimentation with design, denomination, composition, and national iconography. Attribution specialists will note J-80, Rarity-7.
