1838 P50C, J-76A RES PCGS PR65

PCGS PR65 1838 P50C, J-76A Res presents as a Gem Proof example with attractive natural patina and proof finish. As a pattern issue, it records the Mint’s active experimentation with design, denomination, composition, and national iconography. Attribution specialists will note J-76A, Rarity-8. Rarity context is especially important: it is reported as the sole highest graded. For proof gold and silver collectors, surface preservation and finish are often as important as the numeric grade. Collectors pursuing the series at an advanced level will recognize the importance of grade, attribution, and surface quality here.
