1844 LIBERTY SEATED 10C MS64
LITTLE ORPHAN ANNIE DIME. ONLY 1 GRADED HIGHER AT NGC.
In 1844 Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln purchased their first home in Springfield, Illinois. Costing the couple $1,200, the house was one and a half stories and contained five rooms. The Lincolns would spend the next sixteen years in that house until moving into the White House. Could this 1844 dime have been used by Lincoln as part of the $1,200 in cash he paid for house?
