MARYLAND LORD BALTIMORE 4PENCE PCGS AU55 CAC

Offered in certified AU55, Maryland Lord Baltimore 4pence displays prooflike reflectivity. This issue falls outside ordinary federal type collecting, making history, attribution, and condition especially important. The Crosby plate pedigree is a meaningful part of the coin's story and supports its specialist appeal. The certified census is relevant here: the certified population of 1/1 suggests limited availability at this grade level. In AU preservation, the balance between detail, surface quality, and remaining luster is essential. The coin is strongest when viewed through preservation, attribution, and the facts that define the issue.
